Sheet Reader is a REAPER script that lets you load and view PDF and image files directly inside REAPER, keeping reference material visible while working.

It uses Poppler to convert PDF pages into images and displays them in a simple ImGui-based viewer.

This script is free to download.

What’s New in Version 2.0

Version 2.0 is a major internal and usability update:

• Cache Manager is always accessible from the main toolbar

Requirements (READ CAREFULLY)

This script will NOT work without the following requirements

1. REAPER 7.xx
2. Windows only
3. ReaImGui API installed (via ReaPack)
4. SWS / S&M Extension installed
5. Internet access (only required for automatic Poppler download)

❌ macOS and Linux are not supported

Installation

• Download the ZIP from Gumroad
• Extract Sheet Reader.lua
• Copy it to: REAPER → Options → Show REAPER resource path → Scripts
• Open the Actions List
• Click Load… and select Sheet Reader.lua
• (Optional) Assign a shortcut or toolbar button

When first run, the script checks for Poppler and will guide you through automatic installation if needed.
